My academic background includes a bachelor's degree in Fine Art from California State University Northridge and a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from California State University of the East Bay. I also have completed all my coursework for a doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Based upon my academic background and clinical experience I am particularly interested in the creative process and its impact on living a creative life whether it be a specific focus or living a more satisfying and productive life.
As a psychotherapist with almost 40 years of professional experience I have worked in a variety of settings: community mental health centers, a college counseling center, and in private practice. In addition, I have taught at colleges and supervised masters' and doctoral level students.
